Notable Geographers Project
The objective of this project was to pick a notable geographer and research them to learn about their contributions to geography. The geographer that I chose was August Losch. I found that this geographer was very difficult to research because several of his works were online, but there was not very much on his past. I had to work hard to learn about his past in order to relate it to his contributions. This project helped me learn about leadership because August Losch was a great leader with all of the contributions that he made, and I was able to see what it takes to be a successful geographer
and economist.
Outline for APHG Midterm
The AP Human Geography course is an extremely difficult course. It is a college credit course that is available for high school students to take. For our midterm, we made outlines that describe the course, using vocabulary and addressed key points. This project taught me about leadership because I had to be responsible in making sure that I covered all the information that the course convered and finish it in time for the exam.
