Design Challenge

 

In Intro to Engineering Design, we did a project called the Design challenge. We had to design a  craft that could be assembled by the consumer using a virtual design program. There were certain constraints such as having to have a certain amount of motions and having to be a certain size. My partner and I decided to create an wooden ark. We wanted to make it be able to roll and have a door that opens so that animals could go in and out. It taught me that you have to stay on task to finish all the parts of a project. It is also important to look at all the requirements and not procrastinate. There are time requirements on projects in the work world, and if not completed in that amount of time, there are repercussions.
